It works fine on my laptop (Internet Explorer and Firefox) and on my phone (viaTapatalk)....

Anyone who thinks some of these pictures and comments of are not in keeping with the image of the BCSS, tough, a bit of light-heartedness doesn't go amiss occasionally and it's worth remembering not all members are the wrong side of 40!

It will be interesting to see how Mr Castles grows, being of unknown ancestry. When he gets bigger, the others could form a little "moat" around him....

I got an early birthday present yesterday...
For a new build, the flat is often very drafty. If it is very windy outside, the "plant window" gets quite chilly. So, after a worrying few windy days, I was given a present early.

My very own greenhouse!

Because I got it early the extra perspex shelf isn't here yet. All plants, barring one, fit in there currently and it is keeping them warmer. It also gives me an extra inch so I can fit more plants in and only takes up (the non-drafty) half of the window sill!

Don't stint on insulation - winter's on it's way. If you have to spend as much as £1.00, don't think twice - make the investment. You know it makes sense!

It's a very nice mini-greenhouse. But it is mini, by next spring I suspect it will need to be bigger. Unless you can prevent yourself from acquiring any new specimens. I don't hold out a whole lot of hope. This is a very addictive hobby.

How much?!? I was prepared for about 80p but....
And I really don't like breaking into £2 coins...

I've also got another window sill, if the gardeners ever decide to cut the plants outside back. At the moment I don't get much light in that window but I'm sorely tempted to go out there with scissors....
And who needs a bathroom window sill when you could have plants.....
