3 into 1 greenhouse build

Post by Bill »

The plan is to take 3 8x12 elite Belmont greenhouses and make 1 16x24 and ifthat wasn't difficult enough I have got to work round the 2000 plants.

One wall complete, first pictures click on them to see the captions.

First lesson/mistake, you need to reduce the total width of two ends by 2 cms otherwise you end needing glass 62cms wide rather than std 60 in the centre

Not much progress to report, weather has not been too kind, but managed to make up the new staging in the now empty barn. And no it's not wonky the barn floor is very much not flat.

I did indeed Ian, I started with a 6x4, replaced that with a 12x8, then added a second one, then made a 2 foot link between them, then extended the whole thing to 16 foot so I had 18x16 so I am now rebuilding (adding a third 12x8) to 24x16.

I should think every cactus I have in my GH would fit on just  half  of the back shelves.

Very interesting pictures.
