Greenhouse tour

Postby NorfolkExotics » Sat May 13, 2017 11:01 pm

Now that I've finally organized (well, mostly...) the greenhouse, I thought I would post some pictures.

Again, thanks for the replies

I used to take them outside, but that was when the amount of plants I had was still manageable. I have got a big Americana mediopicta alba outside in a pot though. It took a bit of damage last winter (lower leaves), so I may build a cold frame around it this year.

I have a couple of ID requests from the photos below. Regarding the last salmiana type plant, would anyone say it fits the description of a salmiana crassiaspina? I hope it is as I've been wanting one ever since seeing habitat pictures of them from Paul's Mexico trips. The plant in the blue pot has also been a long standing ID mystery for me. I initially bought it as a franzosinii but it has had far too many offsets for that identification to be correct. Thanks in advance if anyone an give me any information.

Some really beautiful Agaves. I'm glad you are such a fan, they are fantastic plants, if somewhat prone to growing too large. The plant in the blue pot looks to be an ordinary Agave americana to me, they produce large amount of offsets.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti
