Mammillaria duwei
There is some variability in spination. It flowers in cycles during all month of the summer.

Hi Diane, You have some lovely plants there. I have just been looking back on your greenhouse tour. What's new there and how are things looking?
Are you entering anything in the National Show?

Hi Liz, Thanks for the compliment!

Yes, there is a lot of new stuff, and a few losses, like we all have! Since my husband sadly died last year, I now have his 24' x 8' greenhouse! It took a lot of effort to clear out, and clean up, but did that last autumn, and am now gradually filling it up!

It gave me the chance to do some long-needed repotting - which has been very beneficial to so many plants - and the chance to acquire plants that I didn't have the space for before. Thanks to Sylvia, I have got into Echinopsis hybrids - she gave me some offsets from her Schicks, and I've bought more from

, and also, I'm trying to build up a collection of Stapeliads, especially Huernias which I used to grow quite a few years ago.
