Here are a few of the matucanas I have grown and enjoyed over the years :
- M. senilis - a Knize catalogue name for paucicostata
- M. aureiflora - a rich chrome yellow, very floriferous with age
- M. intertexta
- M. weberbauerii var. flammea
- M. yanganucensis var. setosa
- M. huagalensis
- M. aurantiaca - in flower at the moment
