Such nice succulents Dorstenia's. For me they have a lot of character with their strange flower structure and knarled Bonsai like appearance. Here are two of mine. the first D. foetida I have grown for over a decade and the second D. hilderbrandtii ssp. crispum I have grown for one year aquiring it from David Neville at the Exeter Convention.

Here's one of my Dorstenia gigas, this is an ISI plant, only started flowering recently and not many hypanthoides (SP.??), I would still like to grow my own plants from seed.
Dorstenia zanzibarica, I may have the spelling wrong as I have lost the label. and finally Dorstenia gypsophila I find this the most challenging Dorstenia to grow, even my seed grown plants at 4 years old are still hard work to keep & get them to grow every year.
Dorstenia lavrani, there are some dodgy hybrids that I have seen exhibited at shows that really have the wrong growth habits & should be relabelled sp. or binned ( IMHO ).Dorstenia zanzibarica, I may have the spelling wrong as I have lost the label. and finally Dorstenia gypsophila I find this the most challenging Dorstenia to grow, even my seed grown plants at 4 years old are still hard work to keep & get them to grow every year.
