Hi Diane,
great show. I can never get a full show of flowers in one go. My plants tend to throw flowers out over a protracted period. I was wondering if that was down to the lower light levels I have here.
Well done with your rugosum. The red bodied form is perhaps more appealing, but certainly no easier. I don't have mine any more!

Re: Conophytum Flowers
Lovely Diane,especially the Rogusum.
Brian, temperature could affect flowering as well as light levels. I have 9 flowers on one in a west facing window. In the South facing window ( which gets light from east, south and west) the most on one plant of equivelant size was 9.

Diane,
Excellent grown plant of C. rugosum.
Like Brian, I lost my plants a long time ago.
They're very difficult and need lots of attention.
I assume you can not miss a head of it?

Re: Conophytum Flowers
Lovely flowers, I haven't seen a collection of Conophytums in flower before, I did not realise they were so colourful and large. I'm not starting another collection, same old story, no room in the greenhouse.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.

Re: Conophytum Flowers
Taking a few more pics for my website today - I thought this looked OK on the camera, but it was frustratingly difficult to focus on. Then the sun disappeared........
But it's a lovely thing - a new reconditum form with pink flowers!

Re: Conophytum Flowers
Very nice Chris.
Is that one plant or a bunch of seedlings?
Noticed yesterday one of my green reconditum budding up, with the usual white flowers.

Re: Conophytum Flowers
That is one plant Brian - but I have 3 clones. Unfortuantely, only one flowered.....
After I took the pic, I broke it up. Something as nice as this needs distributing as soon as possible. I might be able to list it in a couple of years.
