Great pictures Hob. I looked at some of those plants and looked at my far younger plants and can hardly wait for some of mine to grow up lol. And... I did some serious drooling over some of those plants too. Our shows over here start in June so I will haunt the groups I belong to so I don't miss the announcements for those show and sales here in Ontario.
Have a good weekend
Wendy

Thanks for the pictures Hob, I couldn't get to the Show, so it is great to see them.
I like the rosettes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, I haven't seen these used at Cactus Show before, just right to catch attention.

Well done York Branch,

Dot.

Thanks for the pictures Hob, I got to the show on Saturday, having seen your pictures I did not take any more.
There were some notably plants in the York show, a very nice tree Aloe, for instance.
I bought a few plants from the sales table, as well, a couple of Echeverias, of course, a Crassula and an Aeonium.
The nurseries in the main hall had some great plants on display and some very good ones for sale. However, since the discussions about labelling I'm very wary of names on labels. I thought some of the nusery plants were either wrongly labelled or wrongly spelled and I find myself questioning every plant I look at. It means a lot of research to be sure of the name.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.
