Our first holiday in Menorca was in Cala Galdana, Bruce, (about 20 years ago). It's changed a bit since then, we visited a few years ago, whilst staying elsewhere, but it's still the prettiest bay - lots of good walks along each headland, full of orchids in the spring.

Only mid 30's Bruce;)
Yes the stem does look a bit tall, I saw one similar in Gran Canaria a few years ago and managed to get a few bulbils as the inflorescence had bent right over.
