Anyone waiting for this to be published? He's announced on cacti_etc mailing list today that it will be available soon:
I hope you will not mind me using the list to tell you about the
completion of my book on Gymnocalycium. It has been a lot of work
so I am pleased to say that it will be available on May 15th.
I have published it myself, so with a view of making some sales to
help pay the print bill, I am offering free postage and packing for
orders paid before the end of June.
288 pages case-bound with dust jacket, 280 x 210mm (the same page
size as the New Cactus Lexicon). 624 colour pictures of plants in
nature, their habitats, plants in culture and historic
illustrations. 75 Detailed distribution maps showing where each
species grows.

Re: Graham Charles's Gymnocalycium book
When we saw Graham's talk on Gymnos last year we were very impressed by the terrific photographs many of which Graham said would be in the book. I have been looking forward to this publication since then and I for one will certainly be buying it. This is going to be a must have for anyone who is interested in Gymnos and will become the definitive work on the genus. This is a brave venture by Graham to publish it himself and I wish him every success with it.

No doubt it will make me want to rebuild the Gymnocalycium collection i once had,
regretfully having to let most of them go for more growing space.

Benjy I paid too. I decided that it would be a perfect present from me to me for my upcoming birthday.

Re: Graham Charles's Gymnocalycium book
Mine's not come yet, though supposed to be coming this week.
Graham did say to me at our branch meeting he had more than enough of Gymno's now after compiling the book and might even try Matucana's next time.
