Thanks! I've got my plants from SuccSeed and Wermland Desert Plants (so far) and have some seeds (from SuccSeed) in the pot as well. Some seedlings may end up as grafts and degrafts later on, I haven't decided yet.

I used to get quite a bit of seed of early FK numbers direct from Fred Kattermann when he first started collecting in Chile, long before he wrote his book. Alas most of the seedlings, along with Karel Knize (KK) imports pre CITES I lost in a big freeze in the 1970's.

I don't know if Fred is still supplying SuccSeed etc, but presume if he is they will now be seed from his own plants, or from plants SuccSeed and other suppliers have raised. Juan Acosta is still supplying collected seed though and has just been to Argentina.

My kinda plants, lovely :)

Beautiful Eulychnia Christer.

also, Tenebrosa is a good handle as a label for the FK502 above,
easily identified as coming from San Ramon, and distinguishes it
from the more common haseltonianas from further north.

Terrific plants Christer. What a great group of plants.
I only have one Eriosyce. E napina lembckei which I grew from seed collected by Flores and Watson in 2001. Only one of the 5 has reached flowering size so far and has flowered each year for the last 3 years. It is self-fertile so I now have some seedlings growing on from last years fruit and some nice pink/red berries developing from this seasons flowers.

Please post some more pics as your collection grows.
Darren nr Lancaster UK. Growing Conophytum, Lobivia, Sulcorebutia, bulbs etc.

Thanks Darren.

I haven't collected this kind of plants for long, so no big plants are from seed. But I have some pots with seedling in my window that growing as we speak :) I will keep adding Chilean cacti to my collection as much as I can. And I will show more pictures as well :)

This one is not mine, but it's a real beauty :)
