A couple of seedlings flowering for the first time, opening their flowers in the rather watery sun this afternoon when I got home...

pole-evansii is not the easiest in our climate (tu)
Especially interested in Mesembs. small Aloes and South African miniatures and bulbs.
Keen propagator and compulsive 'tickler'!

Thanks guys! Ian, thanks to your advice in a post a couple of years ago, I didnt water them too much when they grew up!
The vanzylii is the lone survivor of a potful of seedlings that were doing very well, when I dropped the entire potful upside down on the greenhouse floor, at the green raspberry stage. Amazingly one plant made it. Not a recommended seed-raising technique :oops:
Luckily they were on the BCSS seed list the following year, so I have another potful coming along... :grin:
