Crassula "Hottentot"

Post by Amanda W »

Can anyone shed some light on the taxonomy of this plant. I'm wondering whether it's a species or a cultivar.

I have found a few websites that cite the following:

C. "Hottentot" syn. with C. hottentota
C. "Hottentot" syn. with C. marnieriana

Also Gordon Rowley in "Crassula A Grower's Guide" mentions it as syn with "Baby's Neclace" and a hybrid -
(C. perforata "Nealeana" x rupestris ssp. marnieriana)
