For Maria J - Stenocactus seedlings

Post by Phil Hocking »

A few years ago Maria posted a photo of a Stenocactus she bought in Wilkinsons and promised to send me some seeds of it, if it ever flowered. I particularly liked the black central spines (still to emerge) but I don't think we ever established the species. Well here are the seedlings at age 6 months. Thank you Maria, your babies are doing fine.

Tending more towards cacti :D, particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!
