Hi Mike
Yes with arenicola there is distichous juvenal form and then adult form with rosette but arenicola is a creeping specy

Re: More Aloes
Well, I wouldn't mind my sedlings of A. 'abyssinica' to grow into a plant like yours, Philippe. Thanks for posting that picture!
Really nice plants shown here. Wiebe's A. dinteri looks very fine too, doesn't it...

Re: More Aloes
Lots of lovely aloes. Did anyone else buy Aloe pillansii from STC this year? Mine is growing very nicely
Re: More Aloes
Aloe pillansii is growing well if you put it in the soil because he has big roots
If you cultivate this marvellous specy in pot pillansii need a big one

Re: More Aloes
Robert Wellens (STC) warned me that his tissue culture plants should ideally be left for at least a year if possible before repotting as they take a while to establish proper soil feeding roots after being removed from the medium.
My Pillansii from him has grown well and I will probably think of potting on in the spring.
Robert also has a good range of clones of Haemanthifolia and will probably have some with him when he talks at the AGM next year.
