Yes with arenicola there is distichous juvenal form and then adult form with rosette but arenicola is a creeping specy

Well, I wouldn't mind my sedlings of A. 'abyssinica' to grow into a plant like yours, Philippe. Thanks for posting that picture!

Really nice plants shown here. Wiebe's A. dinteri looks very fine too, doesn't it...

Lots of lovely aloes. Did anyone else buy Aloe pillansii from STC this year? Mine is growing very nicely :grin:

Aloe pillansii is growing well if you put it in the soil because he has big roots
If you cultivate this marvellous specy in pot pillansii need a big one

Robert Wellens (STC) warned me that his tissue culture plants should ideally be left for at least a year if possible before repotting as they take a while to establish proper soil feeding roots after being removed from the medium.
My Pillansii from him has grown well and I will probably think of potting on in the spring.
Robert also has a good range of clones of Haemanthifolia and will probably have some with him when he talks at the AGM next year.
