Comparing the plants grown by Aiko and the pictures of mature plants I think there may well be cause for concern that the seed sold by MSG as 2612 Mestoklema tuberosum v macrorhizum could well turn out to be incorrect. My seedlings do not match those of Aiko as the leaves are too long, they curve down to the soil whereas Aiko's are upright and his plants have a furry appearance and mine are smooth.

Sorry Suzanne but it looks like MSG failed on this one but failures are so few and far between all is forgiven. It now remains to be seen what my 2612 turns out to be.

here are my seedlings sown in february 2011, they are max 3cm tall, no buds yet !

Ive got quite a few seed capsules from these plants , (Whatever species they may be??) so if anybody is interested in 1 or 2, drop me a pm, ( i also have a lot of seed capsules of Delosperma sutherlandi Ex MSG 2570 too ) :grin:
