Tatton Show 2013

I am very pleased to tell you that the Macclesfield branch display at the RHS Tatton Show received a Silver-gilt. This is the third Silver-gilt in a row and, of course, we are very happy to receive it again. I will add that we are going to try again next year and also try to improve on this, as we always do.
If you are coming to Tatton, please come and see us in the National Plant Societies marquee, say hello and i hope you will be impressed with what we have put on. The judges always commend us on the quality of our plants and that is one area where we make a huge effort for quality. So, come along and enjoy the show, the weather has been great this year.

There is some coverage of cacti in the second episode of the BBC coverage of RHS Tatton Park at 25 minutes in. Monty Don fondles a rebutia and shows a couple of cristate Mammilarias.

Great display, thanks for posting a photo! I also liked the BBC programme, even though the mentioning of cacti is only very brief. Plenty of shots of cabbages, gooseberries and beans, not to forget of the Birmingham canal boats (the council doing quite well this year with their displays)!
