BCSS Birmingham Autumn Show, 6 October

Post by Christian »

Dear all,

Our branch will hold this year's Autumn Show on 6 October at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, B15 3TR. Schedules can be downloaded from our website at http://birmingham.bcss.org.uk/?p=1496 - if you could return entry forms by Thursday, 3 October, please.

The show will be open between 11am and 4pm, and as before entering just one plant into the show will gain you free admission to the gardens on the day.

Class 68 might be an interesting one this year; I wonder if I can get away with a 'collection' of three year old seedlings...

Plant sales: We have Stuart Riley, Tony Irons and Bob and Beryl Potter as traders with us, plus Mitch Raymond with a display of carnivorous plants.

Thanks!

Forgot to mention the judges: Alasdair Glen and Stuart Estell.

And it was brought to my attention today that Keith Larkin will be selling books at the show too.

Just a quick reminder that you have until Thursday, 3 October, to return your Entry Forms for this year's BCSS Birmingham Autumn Show, if you haven't already done so... (tu)

I've been asked to point out that car parking arrangements at the Botanical Gardens have changed since last year.

It is still free to leave your car at the Botanical Gardens car park, provided you register your car at the Gardens' main entrance. Failing to do this is likely to result in a 175 GBP fine, so please don't forget to register your car if you come to the show!
