Re: April - The best yellow flower
The only yellow flowers that I have at the moment are Echeveria derenbergii and Sedum palmeri.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.

Re: April - The best yellow flower
Last yellow flower from me, shot today. Seems to be a hybrid, for the fruit is big and deep red:

Re: April - The best yellow flower
I'm dazzled by yellow flowers. Thanks to all who contributed to the competition this time. The decision was very difficult because of the strong field. I was most impressed with Chris R's Conos, especially C. flavum and also Chris L's Notocactus tabularis; however just edging into first place was Sylvia's Schick High Noon hybrid. A lovely deep colour, sharp focus, whole screen image and black background. Well done, Sylvia. Now it's over to you for May.

Thank you Rod. I shall now have to put my "thinking cap" on for next month's subject.
