>90% of the cactus seed I've sown in the last decade has been of south american cacti. I've felt quite spoilt by the selection available. I've had lots from Ludwig Bercht, but also http://www.succseed.com/en/ http://kaktusyhk.cz/index.php/katalog-semen-2016 (though I would only order when the new list comes out around the end of October and the usual caveats about the 'relaxed' customer service of many Czech suppliers applies, though they're very reliable) and even http://adblps-graines-cactus.com/index_EN.html - both the last two have a wider selection. There have been others but these four have been the main ones.
Germination has been much the same for all of these.
