Some nice looking plants, like the pachypodium baronii flowering.

Great show this year Matt, the new venue looks like a big improvement and seems to have encouraged a lot more entries. Well done to everybody. Unfortunately I'd double-booked myself so wasn't able to attend. Thanks for posting.
Cheers

A comprehensive record of the show.. well done and thanks for sharing . It will be a valuable resource for anyone who hasn't attended a BCSS show and is curious.

Congratulations on the new venue.

Thanks everyone, I'm glad that you didn't find it to be a photo overload.

Gary the new venue is fantastic, so much brighter than the previous portacabin. It's a shame that you couldn't make it down, your plants would have been a welcome addition to the show. Especially as they are different to what many of us grow at Sheffield.

Brian you hit the nail on the head. I like to snap away and get good record shots of each class as it can make a useful reference when trying to decide which classes to enter the following year.

Graham it was great to have you there. I came away having learnt a couple of lessons. Hopefully it won't be too long before you are down here again.

I'm sorry that they aren't all quite in ascending class order. I did lay them out correctly in my original post but the forum chose to alter the order of the pictures when I published my posts.

I would say that if anyone would like to join us next year we welcome all outside entries. Non Sheffield members can stage their plants just for one day and remove them from 17:00 onwards on Saturday. The competition is always welcome, we appreciate seeing new plants as well as old stalwarts and ultimately more entries means a better display for the public and more chance of getting them hooked.
