Another Wilkos ID please
I've picked up a few succulents from Wilkinsons over the past few days but I cannot ID this one - and the free sample with it. Any ideas please?

The free sample looks like a sedum, but I have no idea what species. I can't identify the main plant I'm afraid.

Re: Another Wilkos ID please
I think the big one might be Kalanchoe x kewensis. Maybe Richaud can confirm...

Re: Another Wilkos ID please
The second plant is a Kalanchoe, I think maybe K. katipifa - the spider Kalanchoe.

Re: Another Wilkos ID please
The first plant is Sedum stahlii. It grows fast and turns dark red in summer in the sun. It is not quite hardy and every leaf that drops (very easily) produces a new plant. It makes a very attractive mound and I like it.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.
Re: Another Wilkos ID please
From photos I can find online the Kalanchoe could be either, I wonder how accurate they are.
I think I'll label as K. katipifa for now and see what it looks like if/when it flowers.
I wondered about Sedum stahlii with it's rows of parallel leaves. Looking forward to it getting bigger now.
Thanks for the responses.

Re: Another Wilkos ID please
I love checking the Wilkinsons cacti and succulent trays when I go shopping, they often have some unusual plants in. I got a nice Adromischus form this week.
Re: Another Wilkos ID please
The several branches around here have smallish but different stocks in each lately, often more unusual plants as well.
In previous years they had lots of the more common plants that stayed on the shelves for months, often til brown and crisp, sadly!
Searching for more on what may be my K. katapifa I see that it is a hybrid as is K. x kewensis, there are US patent details online somewhere by a Dutch nursery.
It doesn't appear in The Plant List so throws a warning in my catalogue software.
