Is that the first time it has flowered for you?
I hope you kept other clones so that you will be able to produce some seed eventually.
Especially interested in Mesembs. small Aloes and South African miniatures and bulbs.

sorry to answer late but I have an exhibition in Menton and I'm not often on the farm
-5 trips to Madagascar (3 weeks each) the last in 2008 but now many areas where there are new plants to discover are dangerous and the wasa (tourist) has money and is therefore a target
-The cuttings brought back had frozen and it was Mr Castillon who had collected seeds on the spot
I have 4 plants and another will flower but I'm not sure it'll opens before the first is faded
I will have to put the plants together in a cup to have a synchronous flowering
-In nature the plants were about 50 cm high and wide with rejects
he second plant that blooms with flowers a little darker
But for the fertilization I use a brushstroke but with the current weather with 8cm of snow and low temperatures I think it will be difficult
