I have been anticipating the first flower on a little Turbinicarpus pseudopectinatus that I bought from Nick G almost three years ago. This was it last Saturday just before I left for a four day trip to France.
Needless to say that on my return my first action was to visit the greenhouse and yes I have missed seeing the flower open.
Still there is always next year.

It had not yet opened in the photograph, that was before I went away for four days. Apparently we had a couple of hot sunny days where it will have opened but now it is cold and damp in London and the flower had definitely opened and is now over.fatich wrote:I think not bloomed yet.

These should go a bit longer than just a few days. I expect one to two weeks.

The weather is said to improve by the weekend so here's hoping it will open when we get some sun again.Aiko wrote:These should go a bit longer than just a few days. I expect one to two weeks.
