Arrived despite ripped wrapper - the large loose fold on the wrapping of my copy seems designed to get caught in mail handling machinery. Before the rip it looks like there was a 4cm overlap

Al and team ..... I think you are to be congratulated on a superb magazine ..... and you are right .... there's something for everyone within it.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Yes, a large loose fold. Very easy to open though!

Did anyone else get the cultivation sheet inserts? Or maybe it was a subtle hint about my growing skills?

Yes ... part of a series one would hope
