Re: Succulents in decline?
Some years ago I did a trip round my Aloes which elicited a lot of interest but I think it would die a death now if repeated.

Re: Succulents in decline?
I am a succulent collector I have mostly eheveria, Agave and Haworthia. I am not a cactus fan.
I think succulents are growing in popularity rather than declining. This forum is 'maybe' used more by cactus collectors than succulent collectors? Or maybe people are just a 'little' unsure about posting pics of their plants and a bit intimidated (might be the wrong word and not meant to cause offense) by the wealth of experience on here? Just a thought.

Re: Succulents in decline?
Apart from a few bulbs that appear in the Forum and the gripes about the Society, nearly all the posts are about succulents!

You must be looking at another forum Terry!
Take the first 2 pages, 13 are succulents 21 are cacti.

Re: Succulents in decline?
Cacti are succulent plants, I am being pedantic about sloppy terminology! I have talks entitled "Succulents with Altitude" and "Cultivation of Succulent Plants"; both cover plants from a range of different families including the Cactaceae.

Re: Succulents in decline?
Depends on whether you collect cacti and other succulents or succulents which could include the odd cactus
