G.Horstii ssp. Buenekeri in Flower

Post by cactuspip »

I noticed this plant doing its stuff this morning so I thought I would share it online.

I find the salmon pink flowers of this subspecies particularly attractive.

Are the flowers coming from the side as well as the growing point?
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Quite a beautiful display. I agree with you on the flower color.
