Lithops dinteri
Lithops dinteri is generally known for its smooth windowed face with bright red dots. Not always though:
Here is a more conventional one:
Var brevis is like an extreme version, open windows, few dots. Here's a pot of one-dot seedlings:
And here a "no-dot" pot:
Subspecies frederici has lost the windows, but kept the dots, and is also smaller and convex:

Re: Lithops dinteri
I like v brevis best, they look tidier. I recently got a non-spotted brevis, and when it arrived it looked pretty much like an optica, all greyish green. The sun has put more of a tan on it and it has its proper color now.
I had some issues with dinteri (brevis) in the past since their large windows make them rather prone to scorching.
Here's a dorotheae wannabe:

Ssp multipunctata is certainly supposed to have more prominent markings, even to be larger. The only one I have is very unusual, not representative.
L. dorotheae is almost garish in closeup.
Then there is the green one, more yellow especially after baking in the sun for a while. The red dots are still there, but definitely subdued.
