I’m guessing this is probably a common clone so here goes. I have a Fenestraria aurantiaca which I believe came form the MSG meeting at Bandstead a few years back which has a location which reads - beach at port ????
Any ideas? There was something else written in the top r/h corner of the label but that has also gone beyond reading.
Maybe someone recognises the handwriting?
Thanks
Mike

Port Nolloth? Not sure if Fenestrarias grow down that far south.

Try the same trick that I've used Mike: put it under strong(er) light and move until you get an angle that might show 'hidden' letters.

It definitely grows at McDougalls Bay on the edge of Port Nolloth, only a few yards from buildings. It's where all the dog-walkers exercise their dogs. It seems to cope with being walked on and being fertilised with dog poo - neither of which I've tried on mine.

Perhaps the faded text in the top r/h corner related to the rhopalophylla part of its name, the full name being Fenestraria rhopalophylla subsp. aurantiaca.
