No, dont worry..I was just whinging about my experience, as I've lost a couple recently.
Including one of Stuart's seedlings..
I've now gone down the no soil route as I have my Agavoides collection outside.
Now I worry about if I should water them
I must post some pictures soon of the Agavoides, as they are coloring up nicely

Re: Help with a dying Wax Agave
Hi,
At that point I would have gave it the chop and re-rooted it, in a fresh pot, as someone said the old stem may have thrown up some offsets.
Mel.

I did give the stem a little trim, and repotted it in some sandy compost. This is it now

Re: Help with a dying Wax Agave
I would love to keep my cacti & succulents outside but it's much too cold in where I live. We only get strong sunshine and heat for 2 days at a time. The rest of the time it's too cold, I think.WayneM wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 2:20 pm No, dont worry..I was just whinging about my experience, as I've lost a couple recently.
