Rarely seen it's seedling. So i want to share some insight.
It's about 3 years old.When i bought it 2 yr ago it still have it's cotyledons i think it's 3 yr old.
It was as thin as a pencil but after some time it grow thicker but not taller.
And in last year's spring it spurt out a second vine.
The lower part is very smooth with out any spine it was very different from cutling.
Adenia globosa cutling are very common in Taiwan and Tailand. And easy to grow too.
The care if very much the same as adult plant or cutling. It have't grow third vine yet.
From my previous experience with Adenia cutling they will grow much faster once they have a lot of vine.
Prune down new vine will significantly slow down the growth.
Adenia are dioecious i already have one huge male plant. I really hope this one is female.
Some local grower(Taiwan) has successfully harvest seed. I think this one is one of them.
BTW female plant will produce fruit by herself but it is seedless.
