This Pterocactus australis is now in a clematis plant pot. I begged it to start flowering.

That's a fine plant!

I just repotted a 15 month old Pterocactus seedling, and it already has a couple of roots like my little finger...

I suspect that there are clonal differences because my little plant in an 8cm pot flowers each year without any special treatment.
