They are a lovely thing and well worth giving bench space to.

Re: Graptopetalum bellum
Thanks gents! The pot is about one inch wide so it doesn’t take up space! It’s so small but flowers are brilliant.
Grows easily from leaf cuttings. Very undemanding.
Thank you
Jane

Re: Graptopetalum bellum
Not that undemanding - it is a mealy bug attractant and they get right under the leaves and into the rosette. Maybe something to lure the bugs away from other things? It is grown in alpine houses, maybe the bugs would not be so common in that environment.

Re: Graptopetalum bellum
The other species of Graptopetalum are also well worth growing - not so showy, but still attractive flowers.

Re: Graptopetalum bellum
Indeed, some of the others get rather leggy and need to be re started to keep under control but flower nicely, I always think that bellum looks tidy even when it clumps up.ralphrmartin wrote: ↑Sun Jul 12, 2020 6:33 pm The other species of Graptopetalum are also well worth growing - not so showy, but still attractive flowers.
