I have this plant that is labelled Acanthocalycium klimpelianum that I grew from seed many years ago.
It looks pretty much identical to my Acanthocalycium glaucum, with just a slight variation of petal shape and shade.
Are Acanthocalycium klimpelianum much different to this or have I got my labels mixed up at some time in the past?

Re: Flowered ?
Acanthocalycium klimpelianum is a synonym of A. violaceum, so the labels have got muddled at some point.

Thanks Terry.
I have A. violaceum as well and they are quite different plants.

Still only buds and rain here, but looking at your photos they look good.

Nice to see one of my old friends again, Ray. I had that plant for well over 20 years. Your record keeping is meticulous. Seeing my name on the label was quite a surprise!

Hi Peter
20th September 2019 the label says, on one of your sale days, I must pop down again sometime and have a chat and see what other goodies I can find in that magical greenhouse of yours.
