Hello All,
I have just received the tragic news that Alain Sutton, the Mesemb Study Group seed distributor, passed away suddenly last night. We send all our good wishes and heartfelt condolences to Val, his wife. and his family. More is not known.
I need also to ask that anyone donating seeds for the next distribution does not send it to anyone at the moment whilst we search for a replacement for Alain who had such a brilliant year selling seeds on our behalf.
His local branch - Bromley - will also miss him dreadfully.
Suzanne

Re: Alain Sutton - Mesemb Study Group
I just heard the news by phone from Val and was completely shocked.
My condolences to Val and family from myself & Marj.
He was a close friend, drawn together by our love of succulent plants....I always looked forward to their yearly visits to me and still cannot get over the news.
He will be sorely missed by ourselves and all his friends in the plant world.
God bless
Tony & Marj.
