Advice please!

Post by RWW »

Long time reader, very rare poster!

I would like any info you have on these two.

The taller one is about 30cm tall.

Could I cut the arm off and pot it up? Would it root?

How much do you think they are worth. Sadly I may have to sell.

😢🌵

The offsets from the Neoporteria Paucicostata would root if removed but they seem quite happy where they are. There's not much value there, larger plants of fairly common species don't fetch proportionally larger prices unfortunately.

^ Agreed #1 Neoporteria paucicostata.
Yes the offsets would reroot quite easily depending on your methods, but I personally wouldn't touch it if it was mine, they look good where they are, this is a big plant you don't see many at this size in collections, but it is really common.
