I have set up a private Facebook group for those in the UK who are interested in growing Asclepiads. I know there are other Facebook groups, but I thought it might be good to set up a group specifically to talk about growing them in the UK situation and to swap, buy and sell plants, cuttings and seeds among ourselves, especially now that getting hold of plants from Europe is increasingly difficult in the light of BREXIT. There is also no longer an International Asclepiad Society.
I plan to keep the group private to avoid people from all over the world joining but will probably keep it visible so others can find it if recommended by existing members.
While I have been growing cacti and other succulents since I was a child, many years while living in Peru, asclepiads is not a group I have much experience with. I hope to learn much from others who grow them in our UK reality. I will be growing them under LED lights indoors.
If you would like to join the group, please let me know!
Looking forward to it.

Not all of us use facebook. Why not just discuss them on this forum?

Thanks for the comment Martin. It's meant as a complement, not a replacement. There is an active Facebook community who may not use this forum. As far as I know this forum isn't intended for swapping and selling and not everyone is on here either.

Isn't the BCSS FB group twice, or perhaps even thrice, as popular as the whole Society? There's definitely a market out there.

I would definitely join, I’m a keen fan of Asclepiads, in spite of their finicky ways, and tendency to die at the drop of a hat. Now it’s no longer possible to purchase plants from the EU (my previous source) it might be possible to to exchange, buy or sell with other like-minded growers.
