It's looking promising. Not long to wait.

Growing a mixed collection of cacti & other succulents; mainly smaller species with a current emphasis on lithops & conophytum.

Agreed .... I'd be dancing delightedly
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Lovely to see Eric, mine has always flowered overnight, with a beautiful scent. (tu)

Nice one, Eric.
This was one of mine from a few years ago - it had to be cut down as it outgrew the greenhouse.
But numerous new plants grew from the 'stump' and have now been cut off and rooted down to provide columns for the future.

What a lovely flower, makes me feel wicked for using it as grafting stock

Hi Tina, I had similar thoughts. Wanted to try my hand at grafting years ago. Sowed some seeds, but plants looked pleasing to me , so I just grew them on.
