But it's not working now.
Anybody know anything?
I don't know what's happened, but I also had it bookmarked and it stopped working at least a couple of weeks ago.

I'll send Ian a message to let him know his site is down.

Seeing as the weather is quite warm at present, I've put my sales / swaps page back online for now, in case anyone is looking for Xmas presents....

Hi Ralph, hi everyone. Look at this, I'm a member now! I was in email contact with Ian in the autumn and he has been out of action due to reduced mobility so may have taken his website down until he's able to get around better. Hopefully back up again in the Spring.

With regards to importing plants into the UK, if they are from an EU country, the costs for the phyto certs will make it prohibitive. If you're bringing a big shipment in (as a nursery would) it will be spread across the plants and make it worth it. You can import plants from non-EU countries but it is a risk. I have stuck to seed only since I started growing again three years ago, and I haven't had import issues so far, and the process is very satisfying. So, if you're after a particular plant, get friendly with someone who grows from seed

Mostly growing cacti people may label astrophytum, aylostera, echinocereus, echinopsis, gymnocalycium, mediolobivia or sulcorebutia, in too little space with not enough sunshine, but lots of care. Long live collection numbers!
