Plant ID please
BCSS 2022 DECEMBER seedlist. Would be succulents rather than cactus part of list.
Can anyone play detective and suggest a possible ID please?
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Re: Plant ID please
It’s an Aeonium, possibly A. ciliatum?

Re: Plant ID please
Terry I got halfway through a post last night and never completed it, sorry!
As Diane said, definitely an Aeonium but as well as ciliatum, it looks a bit like some young davidbramwellii plants I have here so it could be them or some other tree-like species like one of the arboreum subspecies instead (holochrysum or rubrolineatum).

Thanks
Imagine my surprise as I was labelling. I label seeds as ... eg ... BCSS 2022 159. I don't add full names on printed tapes until well after germination. I knew they were not Cheiriodopsis but what .....
Last year was a poor year for seedlings for me. Not many germinated and few survived the fluctuations of the year. Labelling of survivors took very little time.
I suppose I was hoping that someone else had purchased seeds correctly labelled and recognised my plants as being identical to mine OR knew the plant by their expertise.
