Handmade Plant Pots

Post by Ell -Lithops »

Afternoon all!

Just a quick question, does anyone know of any UK plant pot creators? I would love to get a few special pots for my fave plants.

Thanks
Ellie

I remember seeing a topic on that somewhere around, but anyway I would go to a bonsai themed exhibition or competition near you, it's probably your best bet. The majority of pots might be wide and shallow, but taller are also available.

My partner makes frost proof pots; mainly intended for bonsai, but i use some for my cacti - and she will do commissions

Ravi Ivaturi in Sheffield makes ceramic pots, see https://vanapottery.com/
A bit far from Devon.
He does sell caudiciforms as well, but I don't think he has a website for these.

Have a look at Whichford pottery, www.whichfordpottery.com they have a nice range and some might be suitable for your larger plants. They sell them at Wisley garden, so Rosemoor in N. Devon might also stock them.

I have had some nice pots from this chap, some larger upright ones, prices are more reasonable than some Bonsai people, he does sell on ebay sometimes
