Interesting book due out soon...
Just found out my forthcoming book is listed on Amazon as a 'pre-order'. So it is real, after all!

Great stuff. Can't wait to read it.
I know Amazon can cut your royalties for certain publishing deals so do you get more money if we buy direct from you or other book shops (if it will be sold anywhere else?)

Re: Interesting book due out soon...
I think at the moment £25 is the retail price from anywhere and I will get a (very) small cut from that. I get the opportunity to buy some copies at a small discount that I can sell at talks and a couple of events this year (book signings!) but not too many as I fear getting stuck with a room full once the price gets, inevitably, cut below what I bought them for. Plus postage is going to be a thing, I need to investigate how I am going to do this. Plus get a card reader - it isn't straight forward! In all honesty it is going to be easier to get a copy from Amazon (or WH Smiths) than from me unless I happen to encounter you somewhere.
