Re: Lobivia cultivars
They're the sort of plants that would quietly sit in the background as nothing special and then they flower -Wow! Well worth looking out for but probably not in the UK. They're superb.

They are amazing Diane! Seen the first two from a seller on eBay but not the Leopygmaea!

Re: Lobivia cultivars
Thanks! Yes the first two are from a well known seller in the UK, but the leopygmaea came from a European seller a few years ago.

Those would brighten any GH on any day
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs. Recently discovered gorgeous Gasteria.

Re: Lobivia cultivars
The Chinese also have quite a few things of this general kind. I quite fancy some of their L. arachnacantha hybrids.
