Only buds on L. pseudotruncatella but they are developing very quickly. Nothing on L. steineckeana, fingers crossed I'll also have the oppurtunity to pollinate.

Ever hopeful, trying to grow plants from arid sunny climates in the UK!
Lithops, Haworthia, Adromischus, other south African succulents including Ceropegia and some Crassula.

Lindsey, I would be very interested to hear how your experiment in crossing fares and in the resultant plants if you are successful. Further north we are not so advanced, flower wise, though I have had one or two plants that have forgotten they should not be flowering till August.

I think my lithops are completely and utterly messed up with their body clocks, one is still shedding it's old skin from last year quite heavily.

What's the best way to handle them? is there an easy way to kick them back into sync?

That's a stunning photo, Iann. "Yellow" doesn't really do that flower colour justice.

Guess what? A bud on L. steineckeana, that's not bad synchronicity. It looks quite thirsty though.

Tending more towards cacti :D, particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!
