Now just to confuse things I'd say yours looks more like T. Pervuianus, or perhaps even one of the many forms of supposed T. Pachanoi than T. Bridgesii Dave
Perhaps it's the darkness of the colour in the photo as you say, but that front one really does look like T. Peruvianus! Is the front one just a separate arm of the rest of the plant behind it? It seems to flatten out a bit between spines on the bit behind it if so. It's the way the spines emerge and the colour and size of them, it just doesn't look like T. Bridgesii I've seen but does certainly look like T. Peruvianus or T. Pachanoi.
