First flower

Post by AllanA »

A rather special moment when your first flower comes from a seed grown plant.
18 month old pellucidum from Mesa Garden mixed seed.

Do you know what they all are? Looks very like C. lithopsoides on the left and C. frutescens on the right but I'm always amazed that seemingly unrelated Conophytums can look all but identical!

Tending more towards cacti :D, particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!

Not yet Ian, there is a burgeri right behind the flower.
There are two more pellucidums.
The rest will have to grow a lot,and/or flower.
I sowed them for a bit of fun and to see what came up.
