An impressive array of Lithops, Ian, I've always been interested to see them. When are we going to see some shots of the rest of the greenhouse? What about all those Mesems you keep showing us, how about a tour?
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.

Labels? Who needs labels when I know every plant like my own children? I do have a database for when my memory fails me, and labels for plants which are otherwise difficult to tell apart. And labels on every single Conophytum!

Given the amount I spend in the greenhouse, perhaps I should be able to trust more to memory, but as daft old bat syndrome sets in I'd probably get the generas mixed up, never mind the species. I do have photos of most of my plants on my "register" however.

I cross-pollinate Lithops whenever I have a suitable pair. They are so easy, no messing about with cat's whiskers like some mesembs, or waiting for that 30-second interval when an Avonia gives off some pollen :angre: This one I'll probably sow the results, you just never know what will come up. Like another 100 L. verruculosa with cream flowers!

There's a hint of the colouring in this flower.
