Weirdlings

Post by Bill »

More odd Astro seedlings, not sure what causes this but they seem to have put out offsets from the growing point (damage maybe) that are different from the main body.

Hello,

Perhaps you should avoid watering your seedlings with gasoil ! ;)

Funny to see the tricostatum (right / 1st pic) is now growing 5 ribs.
The first left on the 2 pics seems to turn 'kikko'.

Seeds were said to be Onzuka ? Weren't they ?

Yes very odd.

Nope the tricostatum is from a tray of normal myriostigma and the others are from a tray of myriostigma 'nudum'

I think it's definitly a result of damage to the growing point, probably red spider. I have had some very similar things happen to several of my seedlings this year.

Sweet, Bill! Put a little scarf and hat on them, and let them be your Xmas snowmen decorations. :)
