something else i considered doing was trying different grafting stock for a certain type of cactus but think some problems

1. lack of current information

2. cost/budget
in love with astrophytums and Haworthia truncata

...and if you're thinking of involving the rest of us you'd need to take into account different grafting skills. Mine are very poor!

the problem with me doing anything with cacti is the massive lack of information. i want to do it on cacti but finding very hard to come up with something

for the grafting experiment, another idea could be:

grafting seedlings on different sizes of pereskiopsis (say 5 cm., 10 cm., 15 cm. ...) and see what difference it makes on the speed of growth.

it would be easy and cheap.
