There was this fantastic, beautiful specimen of an Aloe plicatilis which didn't even get placed, wonder who that belongs too;)

C.ampliata, wish I could grow this properly, I got ONE flower this year and my cuttings never take (unlike C.haygarthii which never fails!)
. The talk
> at the end by Paul Shirley was about these plants
Wish I could have been there! Seems there are a number of mesemb/Other Succulent autumn shows in the UK, beyond Branch or Zone level, not all run by the BCSS (??) A quick look on the Events Page ...
... I think I'll start a separate thread about these.

Ever hopeful, trying to grow plants from arid sunny climates in the UK!
Lithops, Haworthia, Adromischus, other south African succulents including Ceropegia and some Crassula.

Thanks for the pics Vic couldn't make it unfortunately but recognise quite a few of the plants.
The Haworthias Bill are mostly from our Ex. Chairman/Zone Rep.
No. 1 on my list updated from your list (see below) is an ex ISI plant but can't remember the exact no.
No.3 is one of my favourites...........I'm still waiting for an offset
No. 4 was a feebie from my plant & one of the best clones of this Bob Kent hybrid, not sure about No.s 6 & 7 :-
1. H. nigra v. diversifolia fa. nana ISI....
2. H. limifolia var. ubombensis
3. H. mutica
4. H. 'Bevs Wonder' the clone known as 'Lover More'
5. H. springbokvlakensis
6. H. retusa x 2 ?
7. H. magnifica v. splendens (I think) top pic.
8. H. lockwoodii bottom pic.

Cheers Ian, you can tell I'm very knowledgable about succulents;)

Hi Phil
The 'Lover More's I have seen were not as white as that and less scabrous, perhaps it's just the light, not that I have seen many.
I am pretty certain I have a plant nearly identical to that mutica Phil. I'll have a look.
